A few customers have called to report someone knocking on their door posing as a city employee and demanding a water sample. Others have asked to inspect the water lines inside the home after a main break in the area. Please be advised that our water employees do not normally do this unannounced.

If someone identifies themselves as a city employee and asks to enter your home or collect a water sample, please ask to see their employee identification. Our employees wear a photo ID badge, a city-issued uniform or shirt and would also be driving a city vehicle.
